Welcome to the  Metropolitan Hotel website.

My name is Shane McFarlane , and I am your proprieter, Lionel Abello is your chef  whenever you come and visit our hotel.

You may have heard of us previously, when we were reviewed by 3AW and given Pub of the Year in 2005.

Or maybe you heard about us from our numerous other favaourable reviews.

The Age Good Food Guide had this to say about us:

The restaurant makes a point of ageing its own beef and relies on local markets for its ingredients. It doesn’t matter if you are dropping in for a quick beer, or sitting down to a fabulous meal, my staff and myself will always do our best to make sure you feel at home.
